What is Big Cat?
Thanks for asking! Being in the center of a bunch of great neighborhoods, Big Cat strives to bring some additional hospitality driven options. We believe that a nighttime tavern, a lunchtime sandwich shop and a small market will fit in nicely on this great corner. All the owners, investors, and property owners have lived in the area for years and we are all excited to see how Big Cat become a part of the neighborhood! We hope to make many memories together, that’s Big Cat.
Where should I park?
There is a parking lot next door to us that we share with our plaza neighbors. Guests are welcome to park there, if no space is available in the lot there is unrestricted street parking around us including many spots on the non residential side of Brookside Dr. In order to be as neighborly as possible we suggest using those spots if available.
Do you allow large party reservations?
Currently, while we are getting comfortable with the space, we are only allowing reservations for 6 or less through Open Table. If you have a larger party would contact us here.
How do I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation through Open Table.
Do you have seating available for walk-ins?
Yes! We have several tables on the patio available for walk ins. Inside there are also a couple of tables that are non reservable and approximately half of our bar seats are for walk-ins.
Are you kid friendly?
We are happy to have your kids visit us at Big Cat but please be aware of fellow diners if your kids are energetic!
Do you have a kids menu?
We have several items that are made for your child’s enjoyment (and adults can enjoy as well!).
Do you have high chairs?
Yes! We do have several high chairs available, just ask our host when you arrive.
Are there real live cats at Big Cat?
There are not (that we know of). But there is plenty of kitty kitsch. We love cats and honor them but we’re a restaurant and market, so no furry friends inside.
Do you sell cat food or catnip?
We only sell really great food for humans which you are welcome to share with your cat. Take home a smoked chicken or some tinned fish from our market to dine with your feline! We will also carry a few cat treats such as catnip.
Can I bring my cat?
We do have a shaded patio where well behaved cats, dogs, rabbits, iguanas and all other upstanding pets of society are welcome. But again, no furries inside. Pets will need to be on a leash or in an enclosed carrying container.
